Hi e7 family!
Just wanted to take a few minutes this Christmas morning to pause and wish you all an awesomely merry Christmas!
One of the things that blows me away about Christmas, actually it's my favorite Christmas verse/s, is John 1:1,14:
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God... And the word became flesh and dwelt among us."
God Himself became human. When you think about the baby in a manger, we often think of God sending someone else, but the Bible clearly says GOD became flesh. (Please don't get sidetracked on a trinity discussion here - that's not the focal point)
The point is GOD became human! His love for us brought Him down to our level. He came to live as a human in order to show us who He is. He did it so you and I can be crystal clear on what the character of God is like! He did it so you and I can have a restored relationship with God!
This Christmas, remember you are loved! You have a Heavenly Father who has shown you how much He loves you; no matter who you are or what you've done. Paul says in Romans 8, NOTHING can separate us from His love.
The image of God as a baby blows me away as an awesome picture of how He loves us, and I hope it touches your heart this Christmas too.
Blessings this Christmas!
